Artist Statement
I began drawing and painting as a child with my aunt, a
regionally known artist in Toledo, Ohio, and through the Toledo Museum of Art
student program. While much of my adult
life has been spent in the corporate finance and marketing, and now in teaching,
I’ve always found time to explore my passion for painting.
I have studied painting for more than 20 years with master painters in Ohio and New England. There is nothing better than waking to a day spent in the studio. I love working with color and light and enjoy painting places where one might like to stay for a while. It is wonderful to live near the ocean in an area with so much rich history. I hope that you enjoy my galleries as much as I enjoy creating the paintings in them!
